This is not John’s first rodeo, he has designed & furnished homes for the former Mayor of Kauai, the current Mayor of Portland, a public defender, a trustee of the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Trust and houses in France, the South Pacific, all 7 of the major Hawaiian Islands and has been a licensed contractor in Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. He has 60 years experience in the building industry and has designed, supplied or built over 900 homes nationally and internationally. We offer prefabricated and kit homes that are from home blueprints we work with you to custom design to bring your dreams to life. We then help you with the contracting for assembly on your property. Does the lumber have termite protection?
All lumber is pressure treated for with termite resistant HiBor accomplished in OR.
How is lumber shipped and delivered to us?
Lumber and other materials are shipped in container(s) direct from PNW to ports in Hawaii. Delivery to the job site is provided by the local truckers on each island.
How soon can an order be received from the mainland?
Ocean freight takes approximately 7 days. Packaging and loading involves 3 weeks. Total turnaround time is 30 days. Local delivery averages 3 days from port to site.
Does Pacific Sierra use architects and engineers?
Registered Hawaiian structural engineers and licensed architects review and stamp all permit plans.
What are the phases of Pacific Sierra Corporation services?
- Prepare preliminary plans to meet owner’s needs.
- Preparation of working drawings.
- Approval!
- Process building permits and other coincidental documents by Hawaii licensed structural engineer or architect.
- Assist property owners in various aspects of construction and labor.
